Shelbi L. Ovenstone

Ms. Ovenstone was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2009. She obtained her J.D. from Golden Gate University, School of Law. Ms. Ovenstone received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Legal Theory and a minor in Women's Studies from California State University Chico. She also received her Paralegal Certification while at California State University Chico. Ms. Ovenstone is admitted to practice law before all courts of the State of California. She is a member of the Sacramento Bar Association and Women Lawyers of Sacramento.

While attending Golden Gate University, Ms. Ovenstone was a Voluntary Fiduciary Correction Team Member with the Employee Benefits Security Administration of the United States Department of Labor. She also clerked for various firms in San Francisco. Ms. Ovenstone also participated in a study abroad program in Paris, focusing on French and European Law and Remedies.

Ms. Ovenstone's personal interests include traveling, gastronomy and baseball. Ms. Ovenstone is also actively involved in charitable work in Sacramento and the Bay Area.
